My husband, daughter & I had dinner here while visiting (we’re from Ontario!) and we had such an amazing experience. The staff & service was phenomenal, we were always being checked on, they accommodated for everything we had asked, and super welcoming & friendly. The food was spectacular! I had a shrimp dish with Greek salad and I enjoyed every crumb. My daughter & husband also highly enjoyed their meals as well. I would 100% recommend this delicious Greek restaurant to anybody looking for decent food, & great service.

Taverna was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is very cozy, neat, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious, and every dish was prepared with great care. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. The staff were super helpful and kind, especially Summer, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend Taverna to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. A must go to for food in Moncton. Big portions and good taste. The quality of our food was done very good. I recommend the tavern special which is their Lasagna.

I brought a friend who was visiting from out of town to Taverna, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The exceptional service started the moment we walked in the door. While we were waiting for the hostess, a waitress came over to make sure we felt welcomed. The hostess then went out of her way to connect with us while updating her system and happily confirmed they could fit us in, even though they were absolutely slammed and we didn't have a reservation. Our server, Marco, was incredible. He took the time to get to know us, had warm, genuine conversations, and went out of his way to make the experience amazing right down to the small details. The food runner greeted us with a smile and was genuinely warm, and even the bartender came over to clear our finished plates and took a moment to connect with us. And then there was the food. Everything we ate was packed with flavour and somehow managed to exceed our expectations. What stood out just as much, though, was the culture. Throughout the evening I watched the staff smile, laugh, dance, help each other, and genuinely connect with their guests. You could tell they loved working there, and that kind of employee culture naturally translates into remarkable customer service. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, and this was, without question, the best customer service I've ever experienced. Taverna has created something really special, and I can't wait to come back.

We stumbled upon this gem during our first night in Moncton, and it was absolutely delicious! The chocolate cake is a must-try. The service was exceptional, and the owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for dinner!

Exceptional Dining Experience – A Must-Visit in Moncton! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had dinner here with a colleague, and everything was absolutely exceptional from start to finish! Their drink menu is incredible with so many amazing selections that it was genuinely tough to choose just one. My colleague ordered the Earl of Olympus cocktail and described it as deliciously divine! To start, we shared the Kopanisti—a fantastic, yummy roasted red pepper and feta cheese spread served with hot pita bread. For our mains, we both ordered the Chicken Souvlaki, and it was awesome. The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection—incredibly juicy and tender. It paired beautifully with the light, fluffy rice and lemon roasted potatoes. I also opted for the side Greek salad; the feta cheese was so light and airy it almost didn't seem real! What elevated the night even further was our server, Dee. She was exceptionally excellent, personable, and attentive. She anticipated our every need, went above and beyond with her attention to detail, and kept my water glass constantly full. Dee truly made our experience amazing. This restaurant is a complete must-visit when dining out in Moncton!

Our server Nicole was great, making sure to bring us our items, and letting us know when she was going to take a brief break. The food was of excellent quality, offering great flavor, freshness, and combinations of flavor that showed the chef understood the ingredients and how much of each seasoning was required to make it work, without overdoing it. It was very loud inside, with music playing louder than I'd prefer and patrons raising their voices to be heard over it. Also, the barkeeper needs a barback. It took so long to get my first whiskey sour that it wasn't icy cold when it came, as it should be. The octopus appetizer was my entree, and it was amazingly delicious. My wife's chicken souvlaki was great with excellent boiled potatoes and properly-cooked rice. The second whiskey sour was perfect! If we lived in Moncton, we'd definitely go back.

If you are in Moncton, Taverna is a must. The food, the service and the drinks are amazing. If you want to experience Greek food at it’s best this is the place.
