I came to this restaurant for my birthday dinner with a couple of friends. It was our first time there and it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was very calm and wonderful, with nice music playing. Our waitress Jessica was attentive and kind. I ended up getting the what I think is called the “Athena” drink, which for me was a little strong but I’m not a big drinker anyway. However my friend enjoyed the rest of my drink for me. Jessica also kept up on all of our waters and food came out quickly, fresh, and delicious. After having some horrible tasting calamari at a different restaurant about 2 weeks prior, it was nice to have calamari that was perfectly cooked and paired nicely with what I think is tzatziki. After our lovely appetizer of calamari, I received my salmon dinner which came with the house salad, rice, and lemon roasted potatoes. The food was definitely citrusy but not over powering. Unfortunately I did eat too much of my appetizer so I didn’t eat a lot of my actual meal. However their take out boxes are high quality plastic boxes that you will definitely be able to reuse so I brought it home and enjoyed it later that night. I definitely plan to come again in the future. Was absolutely wonderful!

We went to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary. Autumn was our server and she was fabulous. Attentive but not imposing. Drinks were tasty, ambiance was intimate, food was oh so flavourful and quick to get to the table. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Moncton.

We had a wonderful supper at Taverna, and Autumn truly made the experience special. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she checked in just the right amount without ever being intrusive. Great food paired with great service—Autumn is a real asset to Taverna. We’ll definitely be back!

By far my favourite restaurant in Moncton. The food is always fantastic, the service is over the top friendly and efficient. You feel welcome the moment you step in. Honestly I can't say enough about Taverna. Try it for yourself. You'll come back again and again.

This started out as a one star review as we stood and waited, in the portico, for our table for over 45 minutes (yes we had a reservation, and yes we were a little early). We were famished and on the phone with another establishment down the street when we finally got a table. Management and staff proceeded to take very good care of our party of 5, offering free food and excellent service. Sometimes restaurant staff should politely nudge patrons by telling them their table is needed for another reservation (it’s happened to me, more than once and didn’t ruin my experience)

Was just there for my birthday today I got to say the service is above and beyond always make sure you have everything you have enough water and a food they make great recommendation also if you're in the mood for trying something different and new I definitely recommend the swordfish it is simply amazing we'll definitely be going there again
