First of all, my steak was so succulent, extraordinarily flavourful... the proverbial steak thst melts in your mouth... my mouth is watering now, and we ate there 3 weeks ago haha. The slouvaki chicken was also very flavourful and succulent... arguably, the best restaurant served meat in Moncton... my apologies to The Keg... the fries were top notch, the naam was delivious, the Greek salad was loaded with superior feta, though the minimal amount of Kalamata olives was surprising, considering its a Greek salad, 2 or 3 olives is just not enough in my opinion, and the Greek potatoes were not as flavourful as they should have been... but the potatoes and olives was not enough to take away from the most enjoyable meal I've had in the Greater Moncton Area in a very long time. We shared the Orange Sponge Cake for dessert... great presentation and simply delicious. Taverna will definitely enter my rotation of "must eat" restaurants. Highly recommended.

Ate here on Saturday night for my fiancé’s birthday. It was fantastic all around! Nothing but good things to say. Food was delicious, fairly priced and there was a lot of it! Most of the main entrees come with rice, salad and potatoes! Service was excellent (we had Erin as a server, she was amazing!) and the atmosphere was so cozy! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back. :)

This is, by far, the greatest restaurant in Moncton!!! The food, atmosphere, location, staff, management all five stars! Everyone goes above and beyond. Wow! I will be back. This restaurant is a must try for anyone who truly wants to feel appreciated. Great value for the high quality of the food.

We went to Taverna for my daughter’s 35th birthday. We enjoyed a variety of mouth watering Greek appetizers including the Loukaniko, Spanakopita, Calamaria in addition to a variety of dips with pita bread. Jill, our server was outstanding! She was fun, funny, professional and attentive. She treated us like queens. Jill also served my daughter the Portokalopita orange dessert topped with a sparkler for her birthday. It was so tasty. The environment, while very busy, felt intimate. Overall, I recommend Taverna to anyone who is looking for an incomparable dining experience.

I came to Taverna for the first time with a few of my coworkers to celebrate our birthdays. I was impressed with ambiance and decor of this restaurant, it was very Mediterranean vibe, the bathrooms were gorgeous and clean! Our server was friendly, and full of witty one liners. The food was what I expected Greek to be and taste like- I am originally from Toronto where there is a Greek restaurant every few kilometers or so, so I have had my fair amount of greek cuisine. I had the Saganaki for appetizer which was amazing and the chicken with shrimp dinner it was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. We all had something different and nibbled from each other's so I was able to try a variety of the menu and I must say I was not disappointed. At the end our server brought us 3 desserts to share between us complimentary for our birthday; which were heavenly. I ended up getting a take home dish for my husband and with everything the price was in comparable to what a dinner would be at an upscale restaurant. We will definitely be coming here again and again. 10/10 recommend.
