Billy treated us like royalties! Not only was the food and service excellent, but, the whole wait staff engaged with our table keeping our wine and water topped up. I would definitely recommend Taverna over any of our other great restaurants in Moncton. Seeing the staff work together is a reflection of the owner and the pride he takes in his restaurant. I look forward to going back!

I had such a great experience at Taverna Greek Restaurant in Moncton! The food was fresh, flavorful, and really authentic. The house salad was crisp and bright, with just the right balance of dressing and seasoning. The shish kebabs were perfectly grilled—tender, juicy, and full of that delicious char-grilled flavor. And looking around the table, I can safely say that my dear friends/dinner company had the same experience. We also tried a few other dishes, and everything had that homemade touch that makes Greek food so comforting. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and it all came out hot and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the service. If you’re in Moncton and craving authentic Greek cuisine, Taverna is definitely worth a visit! The staff and food are excellent. One of the owners, Billy, treats you like a long lost family member and the staff are pleasant and personable. The food is wonderfully original Greek. Would recommend you give it a try

The food was amazing, perfectly seasoned and the drinks came out fast, so did the food. When we were out of pita with the appetizer someone came right out and gave us another plate without asking! The limoncello margarita was probably the best drink I ever had. Only complaint is they were out of the swordfish and the music is a bit loud, but still okay to talk, so all in all, very recommended restaurant.

My mum and I came in to have supper and we had an amazing time! It had been so long since we had had any Greek food and we loved it! I had the chicken souvlaki and she had the pastitsio, which is the Greek lasagna. Both were very good! Our waitress was lovely and even refilled our drinks without us having to ask her to do so. And the decor inside the restaurant is very modern and clean. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving fresh Greek food and a good atmosphere!

We also had the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and paired wonderfully with the rice and salad. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with friendly service that made the dining experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh, well-prepared Mediterranean-style food. I’ll definitely be coming back!
